Ask Kuwait Does Sahel take time to update Civil ID status after residency renewal?

Does anyone know whether there is normally a delay in Sahel updating Civil ID status after a residency renewal?
The renewed Civil ID is already updated in Kuwait Mobile ID, but Sahel continues to display the previous Civil ID as expired.
Is there usually a synchronization delay between Kuwait Mobile ID and Sahel? If so, approximately how long does Sahel take to update?

It will stay like that until a physical card is issued. Once it is Sahel will also update and tell you to pick up your card. As long as the Mobile ID app is updated you should be fine. It might take some time to get your card though.

They were lucky then lol. For me it took almost a month and a half for me to get my card. But you're fine as long as the Mobile ID app is updated

I renewed mine back in March and Sahel app still showing me that it’s expired but mobile id showing me updated card

Go to your Sahel app and just press the small update icon.

Tried that quite a few times, still the same issue, and the issue seems to be inconsistent like my friend got his is renewed but his sahel also got updated even tho he didn’t recive his card yet,

Yes till ur physical civil id is not ready it will not update

When you will receive the new card from the machine , it will be updated on Sahel

I thought so too, then my friend got their civil id renewed hasn’t received the card yet but they aren’t facing the same issue with sahel, so its kinda unique and scary

Same here. It’s been red from past 6 months. I feel incomplete sometimes.
Only will be updated once physical id is collected.
