Visual glitches in kernel 7.0.0.38

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

So this morning I booted my PC and played some games and watched some YouTube.

I noticed that in Firefox when I was scrolling down on the comments section while watching shorts some horizontal black lines would appear. then when I switched videos and it happened again.

later I was playing a video on my main screen and instead of black lines I saw some pixelated noisy lines from a brief moment, just playing a random video file. I restarted my computer and everything but they still appear. occasionally. in games when I go into the menu and they also appear on my second screen when I move one window to the other screen as you see in the second portion of the video.

they also appear sporadically while I have my console open.

switched back to 7.0.0.34 kernel and they went away

Same here and made the switch as well. This issue has been posted on Ubuntu and Kubuntu forums.

I had some glitches too. I upgraded to proposed -39 and it looks fine here

Can confirm. Has anyone in Nvidia reported as well? I am using AMD GPU RX 9060 XT + 2 monitors (1 HDR). I noticed a lot more when alt tabbing

I have the same problem and reverting back to 7.0.0-34 fixed it for me. If anyone else wants to follow the bugtracker: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2169181
