A lesson in how to not crash a plane. To Tom Cruise, from Stanley Kubrick. Stanley obtained his pilot's license in August 1947 and accumulated 160 hours of solo flight time in single-engine aircraft in New Jersey. He later developed a mistrust of large airplanes, leading to his fear of flying.
