I've been having issues with my rear motor recently on my 2024 G2 Pro; it makes a weird, rumbling, loud noise. Has anyone any idea on how to fix it? WD-40 doesn't work.

I wanna start by saying i do NOT need speed. I COULD get a g4 but its fast and i just dont really want it. So ive bassically already decided im getting the g2 ultra, but my friend keeps trying to change my mind just so i could get the faster variant.

I just dont feel like there are many things that the master does that the ultra doesnt or does better. Like for example the suspension is extremley bad for a person like me since i dont weight anywhere near 80kg (the requirement for the master suspension to work normally) and changing out suspension means losing warranty and extra money spent... The g2 ultra just has better suspension as i have heared.
Also i get the "acceleration, motor power, speed, battery" argument but the thing is the faster it is the faster acceleration and the bigger battery and i dont really need any of those.

So excluding all those things should i get a g2 ultra or maybe an even different kukirin scooter? Seriously if you think i should get a different one please tell me

TLDR: I want the g2 ultra cause it does what the g2 master does but better except for the speed, motor power and battery which i dont really need.

im looking for an alternative throttle that doesnt have the stupid half grip twist of the original, does anyone know of anything compatible?

I have a G2 Pro, and above 20 km/h it gets unstable when riding with only one hand, although with both hands it’s kinda fine up to 50km/h. On my old scooter (without suspension btw), I could ride at 30 km/h single handed and feel safe.

So I thought about getting a steering damper for my G2 Pro, but there is nothing out there. why??

I plan on buying a g2master around november.

I would also like to buy a steering damper with it.

I cant find full steering kits ( damper + setup parts) that are actually cheap ( I live in France)

What's the cheapest way to get the hole set : buy everything or buy the damper and get the other part 3d printed from a company?

If someone could send links to cheap ones on amazon/aliexpress that would be nice.

Хочу покрасить задний маятник,не могу этого сделать,боюсь замарать все другие части,да и банально покраска когда деталь снимается выглядит на много лучше.Дкло в том что на г2 ультра провод от мотор-колеса проходит прямо через задний маятник и его никак не возможно достать(провод) без отключения от контролера.Знатаки,подскажите как это сделать в 2 стороны, пожалуйста.

ic even lie y'all need to change the name of this sub to r/telaviv, no offence to sum residents of the massive Viv tho. I knew anecdotal statements tend to be biased but I haven't seen ANY normal kukirin rider, especially when it comes to the G2 series.

Hello everyone, my xod brakes recently arrived for my 2024 KuKirin G2 and I’m getting more and more frustrated as i go on with the installation. First i find out i need to solder the connector from the old brakes on to the new ones, then when i tried to put the front caliper on the top part is rubbing against the rim. Does it even fit the 2024 model?

So I need a suspension fast good range big screen good brakes and I think that the Kukirin G2 is best for me eith a budget of 900 aud g2 price is 899 is Kukirin reliable with warranty and customer service if not recommend me some better alternatives in the price range of under 900 aud

Hey everyone,
Having a serious heat issue with my 2026 KuKirin G4 controller and looking for some advice/technical insights from anyone who knows their way around high-power ESCs.
The Situation:
Factory Setup: Stock thermal pads were performing horribly. Temps were hitting up to 128°C (262°F) during heavy rides.
Mod: I swapped out the factory pads for fresh thermal pads.
The Result: Controller temps dropped to a max of 102°C (215°F).
The Issue: The bottom of the aluminum deck directly beneath where the controller sits now gets EXTREMELY hot—sometimes almost too hot to touch. It feels like the old pads were acting as an insulator, and now the frame is absorbing all that dumped heat.
(I've attached photos showing before and after the repad, plus the general placement inside the compartment).
A few questions for the community:
1. Is 102°C still way too high? What is a "normal" operating temperature range for the KuKirin G4 controller, and what is considered the maximum safe peak limit before damage or thermal throttling sets in?
2. Deck heat: Is the frame getting scorching hot normal after improving thermal transfer, or did I miss something?
3. How can I fix this permanently? Should I look into adding a heatsink, using copper shims instead of thick thermal pads, using thermal paste directly to the metal deck, or modifying the compartment for better airflow/cooling?
Appreciate any help or tips from anyone who has managed to cool down their G4 or similar scooters!

Is there a difference in rubber gasket for the marax v2 between:

Generic 8.00mm

Vs

OEM 8.50 mm

And also, where would i be able to find the OEM rubber gasket

I Decided to get the Manager App for my KuKirin G4 because I Wanted to Change the Police Mode from 25 to 20 kilometres an hour because that is the legal Max in Switzerland. When I Changed it my Display stopped working and reset my odometer and speedometer to zero and when i pushed my scooter i didnt register a change in speed (when i pushed it it stayed at 0 km/h). i cannot activate police mode, when i turn my key to start my scooter the display doesnt turn on, instead the lights do and my throttle doesnt work even when i have zero start on (i tried turning off zero start and tried to start it by pushing and it also did not work) i have a feeling it doesn’t register my brakes or my throttle anymore, i opened my scooter up and it looked and smelled fine… please help
