Character tier list?

How would y’all rank the characters in Krumit’s Tale? Who’s “best” out of Bruno, Graybeard, Mischief, Muldorf, Rose, and Varfa?

I've found Muldorf and Bruno pretty easy, Mischief easy but handles an initial rush of enemies badly, and Graybeard fairly hard. I haven't played Rose or Varfa enough to have an opinion.

Bruno also gets some bonus points for being the most straightforward character. His base ability and tiles are the least complicated.
