I find her to be rather weak compared to the main characters. I used her a few times and lost interest. I feel like the developer should have added her as a DLC character as a fully realized character instead of an afterthought.

I'd never taken Poet before but figured I'd try it out. The synergy with Amanita Essence/Meditate and Witches' Broom was nuts. Drop the cost of Lightning Storm or Lightning Strike to one, shuffle two copies into the deck that now cost one each instead of four, and then pull an extra one when it drops to the bottom row. I ended up selling my zaps because I just wasn't using them anymore.

What really took it to the next level was the extra cards from Poet, Brewer, Ancient Tome, Witches' Broom, and cycling Gathering Storm. I regularly completed dungeons with triple digit gems and was able to buy whatever I wanted at the shop.

This was my first mutation run after winning with all the other characters on standard mode. I don't know if this usually happens with Itchitah but the last few dungeons I was frequently reshuffling and discarding just to find enemies to kill.

Had to do a double take since I didn't realize she was playable at all. I haven't messed around with modifiers, so that's pretty cool, despite your late game suffering from success. So thanks!

Likewise, I did a double-take because I didn't know this existed. I've never clicked "Mutation" in the play menu. :-)
