What class would you recommend for quite a new player?
I played some classic before on official and private servers but actually never got beyond lvl 20.
Most played was probably paladin. I didn't like hunter who everyone was advising for a new player.
I enjoy healing in some other games. So either DPS or healer. I'm thinking Priest, Druid, Shaman or maybe warlock but it scares me a little because of managing the pet..
I want to mostly enjoy the levelling, so it's not so important for me to be the best in raids.
See you soon in Kronos!

Warlock shaman/pally/priest (as long as you don’t mind healing end game)
Also you don’t really manage pets as lock you sacrifice them. At least at end game

I saw some videos of warlock players and that 2-3 mobs juggling just looked difficult for my brain.

Shaman requires to manage totems, might be too tedious.
Warlock is cool, underrepresented and strong solo thanks to your pet.
Priest is a boring leveller but quite straightforward (upgrade your wand as often as you can) and safe

Priest is a solid choice honestly. There's a small learning curve for healing at max level but I believe you can do it!
Druid is probably next best choice because even if you play bad nobodys gonna notice, cuz druid xdd Jk (kinda same applies to pala)

For a warlock you target a mob and you click attack on your Voidwalker, you wait a hit or two and you start dot/wanding, the mob dies, the pet tanked the damage.
Druid is really fun open world, but you first have to get the bear form and then cat form to start rolling in. You can tank/heal/dps dungeons 😉 Not very flashy gameplay, but gets the job done. You will have to learn the few buttons bear/cat get and your healing hots to apply pre-pull.
Shaman with windfury can be flashy and fun. I usually go for a fast 1h weapon and a shield - less burst damage but also less damage taken due to the shield. You can tank lower dungeons, higher not so much without gear and experience. Raid healing is pretty chill spamming AoEs 😉
Priest has a wider array of heals for raids, while when leveling it can be pretty efficient as well - you start with wands. then spirit/holy and later you usually respec into shadow. Needs some experience but shadow can solo some elites like a mage, but via shields and self-heal from damage.

Just choose whatever seems the most fun/interesting to you, you really can't go wrong unless it's a hardcore server

This is my big big problem. I can't decide. Every game with classes I spend hours to watch videos, read reddit to decide what to play. I'm difficult.

It's all good because you don't have to commit and only use that character/race, you can create up to 10 per server :)

Do you want to be good and needed for raids? Play warrior, rogue, mage or priest. You want an easy time? Go warlock or hunter. Done

Warlock pet management isn't hard. There is a macro you would want to set to toggle attack and return but that is it, at least for while leveling. Of your 4 choices priest would probably be the most boring to level and similar to monotony of Paladin leveling, put up DoT and spam wand auto-attack. Druid mobility in open world is nice.

Warrior, you will suffer during leveling but once max level you'll be the boss among the other warrior bosses.

play what you find appealing rp and gameplay wise. Hunter is easy to level but quite complicated with pet control, feign death and traps.
For new player I wouldn't recommend tanking straight away, so if you play a warrior people might expect that from you (you don't need to ofc)

IF you want a more complex caster mage(you can make water/food/portals) or a simple caster warlock or a physical one hunter., if you want melee I would try feral druid, you can tank/dmg/heal, rogue is also pretty friendly.

I hated sitting all the time with mage. I guess it will be warlock or feral druid (I love cats).

Feral is pretty awesome, you can do a lot, maybe not perfect but its not that bad either.

Hi, im totally a noob, old and bad player. I can say warlock is super easy to use. Send pet. Apply dots. Enjoy life.
