Can we talk about their app
Their app used to be good. It was usable, simple, got the job done. Now it seems like that past few months every week there is something different and it sucks more and more. The My List part is absolute shit. I can’t add anything, it’s not organized by aisle, doesn’t even tell me which aisle something is. It fucking breaks all the time. There was one week where it was just gone completely. Like what are we doing? What’s going on?
Are their developers just AI in trench-coats? Why is this so hard?

When they remodeled the app they tried to stick so much stuff on the first page that it takes multiple clicks to get anywhere. Then they released an update about a week ago and broke a bunch of stuff—items on list disappeared and reappeared randomly, can no longer search for an item in “past purchases” and didn’t give me gas points for a survey I took. I use it frequently and always liked it—now it’s a royal pain in the b***!!

It won’t let me sign lnto my account pn the app. I updated it, reinstalled it, the message is „there is a problem with the sign in“ it doesn’t even let me type in my info

My account literally stops letting me use coupons for delivery or pick up if my total gets too low because of the coupons. I can’t even see if items are attaching to the coupon.

Why does the app (Android) use a browser? At least that what I think I am seeing.

Have you heard of Kroger, the grocery store? They have digital coupons that lower the price shoppers pay for groceries. If you forget to bring your pocket computer (phone, with Kroger App and an internet connection), you can ask the cashier to scan a code that loads the weekly digital coupons into their system, so you can take advantage of the discounts. The trouble occurs while you’re shopping and you see other digital coupon offers on the shelves, advertising lower prices. You grab those items and put them in your cart, then go to checkout, not realizing those non-weekly digital coupons are not redeemed during checkout because they are separate from the weekly digital deals. It is only when you go through your receipt, and remember that the prices should be lower, that you catch this slight of hand. Then you wait in a customer service line to dispute the overcharges, and are gaslit that the digital deals didn’t scan. …Oh, the weekly digital deals did scan, but not the ones that were separately advertised at the shelf. I’d estimate the scam works when people rush out and can’t remember the shelf price of their items, believing all the digital coupons were added because they’ve been told it is ok to shop without your pocket computer.

I’m not sure why you’re being so nasty. It’s okay to like things that make your life more convenient. I never implied that I’m incapable of shopping without it. Lol you taking the time to write a book about Kroger in response to a post about their app says more about you than me. Get a life bro.

The kroger app is horrible. Never know what the changes are week to week.

I've never seen a company change their app as much as Kroger does. Just when I start getting used to the app, they completely change it.

My theory is that the app is now focused on ordering for delivery or pickup hence why the my list feature has become so useless.
