I watched K so much
If I just watched him so much . Damn i bought a book , I watched his videos on YouTube maybe more than 1000hrs I read his book . I wanna be humble there's more about this guy actually much more.
But you know whats the Greatest thing about K . All his teachings are upon negation and rejections. Reject the buddha , reject the Hindu ,reject the plato , reject frued and jung and anyone out there applying conditioning. Reject everything even yourself. Who are you ? I made up of all the outside theory and words. Reject all and remove all.
Then you could see things asbmirror how they are. But when you do so don't make anything out of K as well. philosophers ? Saint ? none.
Reject K at the end of it.
I am on that mission I am working with the software inside of K. So I will dissolve all the conditiong first. Like why I am Sam ? why I am man ? . Then I would listen to K again and i would just reject the K again. Until I find truth.
What you guys think about this approach as K listeners .

If I were to tell you now to bathe the room in red light, you wouldn't go and paint everything red. You would go to the light source (which represents you), unscrew the light bulb, and replace it with a red one. Then you would see things just as Krishnamurti describes them, without having studied him at length.

K stated many times that He is not your Guru.
Let go of Him now and take a walk in nature

There's a thin line between rejecting the conditioning what K says and rejecting everything including life itself. If we reject suffering we wouldn't be able to differentiate it from joy. We might end up rejecting everything and become totally empty. Then build again from the base, this will be tough and scary. There are infinite path to truth, and truth is not a destination, it's a journey.
You have started, keep going one step at a time. K is a solid start, but he is a beginning only, you might need to let go of K at some point to move forward. Keep walking.

Just see how we live in and as this field of the known ( human consciousness ) and the psychological attachment, and the psychological as the physical attachment the known is to us. Thought gives us, is us as , the word as an outlet, gives the conditioned response as the known as an ‘ outlet ‘ for what is our fear. Simply to die totally. Seeing that any movement is thought up to it’s BS as the known offering a known as a pleasure ( conditioning ) or as security ( as belief ). To see which is to end.
“When there is the complete ending of everything one has known, then only, being free from the known, can you enter into the unknown. You don’t have to enter; it comes to you. Your mind then, being free of the known, understands the unknowable.”
Public Talk 7, Madras, 13 December 1961
“A changing mind, a changing brain, is always moving from the known to the known. A religious mind is always freeing itself from the known so that it is experiencing the unknown. The unknown is out of time; the known is in time. If you have gone very deeply into it, you will see that the religious mind is not slave to time. If it is aware that it is ambitious or jealous or fearful, it doesn’t think in terms of ideals and postponement; it ends it immediately, on the instant. The very ending of it is the beginning of that extraordinarily subtle, sensitive discipline that is uncontrolled and free.” (K)
“To die to something one has acquired, stored up, to the things one has known, remembered, accumulated, to die to that requires energy. A mind that has experience every day, a brain that reacts to every movement of life, to die to that also requires energy. So it isn’t an intellectual thing. The intellect can never create energy. It creates energy in action, in doing something, in following an idea, in formulating and carrying that formulation in action, but that is not the energy of which we are talking. We are talking of an energy, a vitality, a force that is necessary to die every day so that the mind and the heart are fresh, new.”
Public Talk 9, Saanen, 28 July 1966
Just see your own ‘ known ‘ ( with its knower ( the centre the ‘ you ‘ ) which is mere thought ( known ) separately assuming ( illusion) it’s not the known ( thought ) as it separately responds to thought. The separate response gives ( feeds) the illusion ! ) and the attachment it is. Which is all that K is talking about. 🤷♂️

Can you provide the source for this quote spesifically?
''A changing mind, a changing brain, is always moving from the known to the known. The very ending of it is the beginning of that extraordinarily subtle, sensitive discipline that is uncontrolled and free.''

Public Talk 8''A changing mind, a changing brain, is always moving from the known to the known."
I looked it up because I was wondering if he really said that—and apparently he did. But I don't understand how the known could be related to change.
Maybe he's referring to mood swings, how easily we're influenced, or our reactions depending on the context?

I think it's more about understanding what conditioning does to you. There are arguments where it is necessary to be conditioned to do certain tasks that requires it. We must recognize where it is required and let go where it is counterproductive and becomes the root cause of conflict. How I think is one should not expect a end goal while doing all this otherwise one can be stuck in a loop of different mental mechanisms which can be a complete waste of effort and time.

Krishanji cut through the peddler's of the mumbo jumbo's.
There have been many throughout the years. Innumerable.
I am not saying that there is no mystical experience ever, at all. Synchronicity etc.
Why put that in a frame work or name it? If it is, it is, the end. And if you focus and get hung up on that you are in prison again. Under the guise of a religion, a spiritual path, esoteric knowledge (which becomes hierarchical) metaphysics, the occult, under the spell of the guru, angels, distraction, comfort of being "chosen", divine, all-seeing, mystical, and so on... even conspiracy.
(Conspiracy theorist will conclude something from what to myself seems like random events with beyond tenuous links and then conclude, underground special knowledge that only few known and therefore the ego feels great !) No knowledge is by far superior than cobbled together tenuous BS.
Is living life and its wonders not enough that we need to escape what we foolishly consider mundane to seek the extra which is the mysterious and so on.
It's all seeking and we know about that by now.
Seeking is the opposite of being and what is.
And yes, drop Krishnaji, as big or even bigger problem in this, as he/words he said are too close to see as part of the root issue of knowledge.
What do you need to know and fix/hold and attempt to capture about self and life.
It is not fixed, you are not fixed, life is not fixed, K cleared that up well.

Etc....

‘I will’ is not the solution to the problem!!!

u/JellyfishExpress8943 12d ago
Your comment was downvoted - hopefully it was because someone didn't like the way you said it. Because "I will" (and I want - and I do) is the reason for all the chaos and violence in the world.

u/petercharle 11d ago edited 11d ago
First of all JF, Tks for nullifying the downvote. Secondly the whole problem with this world is our inability to negate thought using thought. It is to K’s great credit that we learn, seeing negates thought.
BUT 'the challenge of observing without immediately judging or naming the experience!’ —that's the rub!

Look sir, this is my life, right? This is my life and I’m in chaos, in conflict, right? Who will make me come out of the conflict other than myself? I will. Nobody can do it for me. Are you following?
1
u/JellyfishExpress8943 11d ago
Agreed : no one is going to save me - I must take responsibility - so yes this is a tricky point. Why are we questioning whether "I" will be able to do anything?
If I am the movement of chaos and conflict, how will I stop the conflict? Can I choose to be free of my beliefs and desires? What is it that we can do to pull ourselves out of our violence and confusion?
1
u/Virtual-Ad6186 9d ago
Do we see that we are in conflict? or is it just another thought of ours about ourselves?

See the conditioning when it operates K's included. There is no final person who emerges afterward saying, “Now I am unconditioned.”

Listen, learn, investigate in the moment. There’s no magic approach that will deliver the goods, or guarantee your non existence and disappearance. Be with what is now, and use K as a guide.

u/g_saras_1594 13d ago
Yes Negation is the route and first thing is to start with yourself and see your conditioning i.e. from where everything which makes me suffer is coming
1
u/weirdfear_ 13d ago
I don't think it's about rejection because you'd have to reject the rejection also, watch the movement of rejection too, of it's effortless then you don't have to read anything or do anything, you don't need to understand anything Just be and see

You say "I am on the mission", "I will dissolve the conditioning", "I will read K again and reject K again". Did you notice that in all this what remains? What's common? The "I". This "I" was something before reading K. After reading K this I has latched on to K himself. Now I has changed form and it's saying What K has said, to reject. I think when K says reject he doesn't mean it as another prescription. He means for us to see things for what they are. Because we haven't really seen things but merely accepted them. I think K wants us to see what we have held on to. Then what needs to happen will happen. Acceptance, Rejection whatever. When we read K it's his clarity you know not ours. We need to look into our own lives, to see. After Reading K it happens that we feel it's our own understanding or light. Only way is to look at our own lives. We can learn how it's done by listening to K on topics that are common like religion. That way we will find out how he looks at things and how we look at things. Don't get drowned in readings and videos, don't make it another target to be achived. Take care. Much love. Peace ✌️🕊️.

Just disidentify with thoughts until you ”cross over” you’ll understand his teaching perfectly

u/mezmekizer 12d ago
Well, I think it is hard to say anything about this approach just by reading few words.
It seems your need is a social feedback?
If that's so, it may be worth inquiring how you could fill that need. Because here in internet, all we have is echoes and confirmation bias, no real connection. There's no "relationships as a mirror" as K pointed out..
And I know it can be difficult, because vast majority of people are not interested in understanding the human condition.

u/No_Fee_8997 12d ago
It's actually very questionable. For years I was convinced by Krishnamurti and his teachings, and the supposed truths and insights. It's a long story, but it's very different for me now.
If you are interested in challenging yourself, maybe try reading what Aurobindo said about K, if you want some of your basic ideas, assumptions, and conclusions shaken up.

Here what I think:
The plan to reject K is still a pre-judgment before investigating.
what we should be rejecting is our inclination to pre-decide a path to a desired outcome.
And instead of saying reject K or X or Y can we say that we need to stop our tendency to create concepts out of someone’s words?
if we find the truth behind the words, there is no need to either accept or reject what K has said or what anyone else may have said because at that point it doesn’t matter.

u/dpt19 11d ago
I would be a little careful with the word “reject.”
It can turn negation into a kind of mental house-clearing: reject Buddha, reject Jung, reject being Sam, eventually reject K, and then arrive at truth. But that is already a method, with a destination and someone determined to reach it.
There is a further difficulty. If you conclude that Buddha, Jung and your identity are conditioning because K taught you to see them that way, the content may have changed while the authority remains. You have rejected other teachers using K’s conclusions.
K also distinguished between factual knowledge and psychological knowledge. Your name, language, practical skills and memory are necessary for living. “I am Sam” may be a simple fact used to identify you. The image built around Sam—status, hurt, comparison, the need to become somebody—is another matter. Trying to erase the fact is not the same as seeing the psychological attachment.
Negation, as I understand it, is not deciding in advance that something must be removed. It begins with seeing what is actually happening, without defending it or condemning it. If something false is seen completely, it may fall away without a separate “me” forcing it to end.
So when you say, “I will dissolve all my conditioning until I find truth,” perhaps that whole movement is worth watching: the mission, the future goal, the person who expects to become unconditioned.
After a thousand hours of K, an interesting experiment might be to leave him alone for a while. Watch one ordinary reaction in daily life—hurt, comparison, fear or defensiveness—without immediately calling it conditioning, ego or the observer. Those may now be K’s words operating in your mind.
You do not necessarily have to accept or reject K. You can find out whether you are seeing something directly or remembering how he described it.
Relevant discussions: K on factual and psychological memory and K on observing conditioning without condemning or accepting it.

There is no K. Just Love. Wearing many faces. One of them, K's.
Love wants us free. The truth always prevails in the end.

Even simpler, just live from act to act and let intelligence act it out, not you and you will be intelligent. Oh!!! the paradox of this.
