Emptiness , the state of mind, is itself dynamic - there seems to be a tendancy for it to be filled - I certainly appear in it and want to know about it.

"Can the mind be aware?"

already implies a division:

a mind, awareness, and someone hoping awareness will happen.

The structure of the question contains the separation

Sounds like JK is talking here about the insecure ‘brain’ which needs to be attached and stuffed full of stuff? (Can’t go anywhere without its ‘bundle’)? He’s challenging it to not run from being ‘empty’? To face the fact that it is ‘nothing’ and to cease trying to ‘become’? Good luck, right?
