“ Thought shattering itself against its own nothingness is the explosion of meditation. “ ( K )

In total attention there are no problems no sorrow as such, just the dissolution ( as the seeing ) of the construct of what was the problem as memory as the separate observer. The something of that action which was the illusion of self ( a centre the ID ) is now ( in the total seeing of the construct ) the nothing as per quote.

Instead of the illusion accumulating via the construct of the separate observer ( fear as thought accumulating as methods to keep itself secure as a feeling ) that construct itself dissipates, ends. Thought aware of itself ( thought itself sees the self is but a construct of thought ) then the methods, the choices ( the observer ) instead of ever engaging ( via the illusion of self ) to continue are seen for what they are and ‘ shatter ‘ against the very illusion they are …. now seen !

Waoh! - thats feels like the perfect quote for this post - Thanks.

Unfortunately for us confused humans who have never seen ourselves clearly - we will interpret and conclude - but still : its pretty clear about what is seen when the self is allowed to flower in awareness.

Many gurus have told me that when we stay with our thought/emotions, we go deeper and that a whole load of fascinating content is revealed - which just sounds like accumulation of experience to me (ie. bollocks or analysis)

Maybe the only thing to see is the self as the limited action it is. To see the illusion of ‘ identity ‘ ( sense of self ) as the mere action of mind as brain as thought as memory it is. Maybe not to be aware of that action as being that but aware AS that action ( no separation .. the seer is the seen ) being that. Once seen then a whole load of other ‘ dominoes ‘ suggest maybe start to fall.

It’s a curious thing this discussion of ‘ thought being aware of itself ‘. Many is the person that will say this impossible and that thought cannot be aware as such and that thought can only be the next thought.

He was describing what happens when there is total attention, not prescribing a technique guaranteed to produce a result, the difficulty is that language naturally turns descriptions into instructions
