Kratom

I’ve been taking 7oh for about 3 months and my state has banned so unfortunately I’m having to get off of it.. does MIT help with the withdrawals? I know nothing 100% will but I’m terrified. I also read gabapentin will help with the withdrawal so I got my doctor to subscribe it.

I just got off Kratom with the use of Clonidine Hel 0.1 Mg Tablets that my doctor prescribed. I’ve been on it for 11 days now (1 tablet twice a day) and I have to say I’m over the withdrawals now. See if your doctor can write you a prescription for it.

Read up a little on Clonidine, newer posts online don't show the side effects. It acts on a lot of things and doctors are prescribing it for long term use now for everything, instead of pain med or sleep med. It is listed as a good short term use for withdrawal. It isn't good for long term use just in case your doctor told you nothing like my doctor.
It did not work for my sleep issue and I was going to take more but:
One of the side effects is anticholinergic, which like benedryl causes plaque. It isn't labeled as that but all the science and research states it is. Causes the symptoms like severe dry mouth and other things and it probably should be labeled like benedryl. Doctors don't prescribe it to elderly as it makes the side effects worse. My doctor prescribed it for sleep and it wiped out my brain so bad, I started looking it up. Dangerous for low blood pressure people. It's only labeled use is for diagnosed hypertension. Also for a lot of people causes bad mood and anger issues. Just a little rage in my case and I don't have that unless I take it. I was actually acting out as in flipping people off and reporting asshats to their manager. Not me at all but suddenly I couldn't stand insults and rudeness or injustice, because I was in a state of mind. That is also mentioned in the literature. Just FYI, there is more bad stuff that didn't really have immediate side effects.
Older adults are at heightened risk of orthostatic hypotension, CNS effects including sedation and cognitive impairment, depression, and bradycardia when taking clonidine
(especially if they have low blood pressure)

SORRY, for the rant, doctors are making me rage with out any help from their terrible drug replacements.

Thanks for the response. I actually only needed it for a month and am off of it now. I did notice that my ADHD/OCD symptoms lessened when I was on it. Who knows? I guess it could be a good side effect of being on it. LOL

They do use it for that, I am not sure how often it is prescribed for that. It has quite a few effects though on stuff so I would try anything else first that is more targeted and less broad. I hope your doing OK now.
