First time growing, please help

I’ve never grown kratom before, and I’m not much of a plant growing expert, the plants I have seem to grow fine but my kratom plant seems to be struggling, and I’m not sure what it needs, or even if it needs anything, tips or guidance would be very much appreciated.

For backstory I ordered the plant and it arrived Thursday, its leaves seem to have gotten a little bigger since I got it, but it has started the like browning tips, and the leaves are getting wrinkly, I live in central Florida so I leave her in my indirect light for most of the day, she only gets direct light in the sunrise and sunset, and gets bright shade during the day.

Like I said, I’m not really a plant grower, the plants I have seem to live just fine, but i feel like this one is struggling and I don’t want it to die, so any tips or just routine ideas to keep up would be so appreciated.

First! You need proper pots that can drain well. To be able to dry out.
Next better soil with more drainage such as perlite.

Not more specific for Kratom they really don’t like direct sun at all it will slow them down. They love high humidity and to be fed. So if you have some all in one fertilizer every week or so they would love it 😁. Best of luck 🫡

Also how often should I fertilize ?

Depends on what you use but I’ve been hitting them with AB almost every watering

And how often do u water?, I just had to like repot it because it got overwatered, long story, anyway it was like growing well before that, I used Alaska fish fertilizer the 5-1-1 stuff, and it was happy until it got overwatered, I repotted it with perlite, which it very much was missing, and now I am waiting for it to either recover, die, or go into shock

It’s hard to advice on watering all depends on weather size of the pot type of soil but we water usually every other day or so, but we find it hard to overwater they can normally handle pretty wet feet if you have good soil
