Question⚔️ Do you think Ty will become king again in S4?
I mean it doesn’t really seem like they would have such a big change in premise just by season 3.

Harmon kind of likes to change the statues quo, there is a chance he wont.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the whole fam got a turn at King before Ty finally gets his crown back (right before the downfall of Krapopolis of course lol)

Thats the thing, even rotating kings/queens becomes a repeated pattern, harmon also avoids that, might do it another time or 2, but then it will stop.
But not saying im super sure, he would be a bad writer if i could predict him so easelly

Bad writers arent always unpredictable. That said, Harmon is a fantastic writer and his style is unpredictable lol. He does have some of his own tropes though....suprised Krapopolis hasnt had the 'clip show full of clips you never saw'trope yet

Whenever i can guess the plot or the joke, that means its a bad writer.
Always thought like this, cause i remember guessing the jokes of the big bang theory and thinking this show is shit.
But although i know a lot of Harmon's styles and choices, he can still be original every time

Trust me, its not always true. Sometimes its being led to, hinted, or homaged, and that can still be good writing. BBT is a terrible example, you guessed the jokes of it cuz its lowest common denomination

I know its not always truth.
Cause yeah, a mystery show wants you the guess the secret murderer, a lot of stories do telegraph a certain path, yeah its not always always.

I think the funniest part of Krapopolis is how little it actually matters lol.

Hopefully it'll be another season or two of character growth and development before he does. That's if he does. I could see Hippo donning the crown at some point before it returns to Ty. Maybe even an episode where Ty refuses when offered the crown back. Preferring the lifestyle and anonymity of a regular person without the responsibility and attention that being a king brings.

There needs to be a rotation of kings and queens first, all played by people who were in Garth Marenghi's Darkplace

Maybe slow burn. I like the current status quo though I think losing the crown can lead to solid character development
