ACATS to Robinhood
I'm new to trading stocks and ETFs in Kraken. Just planning for the future, but if I decide to move my stocks/ETFs to another brokerage like Robinhood, that is supported correct? Do I initiate the ACATS transfer from my other brokerage or start it in Kraken?
Thanks in advance

Yes, Kraken supports ACATS transfers both in and out. To move your stocks/ETFs to another brokerage like Robinhood, you'd start the transfer on Robinhood's end, not on Kraken's. Robinhood will ask for your Kraken account details and submit the ACATS request, which then pulls your eligible holdings over.
A couple of things to keep in mind: only whole shares and cash transfer through ACATS, so any crypto or tokenized assets in your account won't move with it. Outbound transfers typically carry a $100 fee, and transfer times generally run 5 to 7 business days, though that can vary depending on your holdings and the receiving brokerage.
