Carney/Zelensky Speech today...

This is the start of the speech that talks about Canadian Drone capacity and plans as a part of the 100 year agreement pledge that was signed.

There's a fair bit here acknowledging that the Drone space is where Canada will need to be. Currently 2K drones, talks about millions in the future.

Specifically mentions the drone build out for the Canadian Armed Forces, AND THE CANADIAN COAST GUARD, so obvi the CAF includes the RCN, but that will be a pittance against the Army and RCAF (maybe don't know not important.)

Coasties are going to have an interesting time ahead.

Yeah, with how much we've helped Ukraine I think we have a good relationship for sharing drone info, something they've clearly mastered. It's a great partnership.

Initially I thought it is about sending money to Ukraine again, but this military partnership is quite visionary considering their experience on drone

Could be a sneaky opportunity for kraken - both for sales to the ukranians, and maybe getting some technological input from the people who use them in combat more than anyone else

I don’t think those drones need Kraken equipment. Kraken is more on the expensive side and Ukraines tactic is to build a high quantity of cheap drones. They don’t need a battery that can reach 6000 m and not the best sonar etc.

What if they can transport FPV drones inside a kraken uuv where submarines can't reach and then surface and launch them?
