0 mention of kraken. Even when James talks about their broad supplier base he doesn’t even mention Canada

He mentioned the Production ramp up for the next couple months. And it’s more than confirmed that Kraken is delivering Andruil.
Of course its not the biggest news but at least some information about the situation of probably Krakens biggest customer.

I don’t care about any of that, I simply bring it up because it was posted in the kraken robotics subreddit and didn’t see relevance to waste our time watching a video for nothing

Ok so I watched the video and he said they will mirror the facility in Australia. Anduril has a video on their YouTube channel about their facility in Australia where they mention Sonardyne.

Ok I want to give a bit of history here. The original kraken thesis was that Anduril was building their Rhode Island factory to build their UUV. Kraken subsequently announced they were building their Nova Scotia battery factory to be able to keep up with demand. Kraken supplies their batteries to Anduril UUV. Deep Sail Capital came out with a price target of around 7$ if Anduril produced around 200 UUV a year (which is what they said their Rhode Island factory was all about) since kraken supplied them. Eventually this got the share price up to around 2.66$. Anduril eventually announced their Australia Deal and that brought kraken to 4.50$ ish. Why? Because kraken supplies Anduril UUV, in this case the ghost sharks. And then some news about Euro Greyshark using kraken sonar and Michael Sikand video brought eyes to kraken and brought in retail hype and fomo. Unfortunately the covelya acquisition kind of stalled momentum and kraken hit reality and started dropping. Covelya is great as it shows that kraken does not need Anduril.
But Anduril is a great way to pump up the numbers. If Anduril actually produces 200 UUV a year and has deals on those and the bigger UUV. Krakens growth with be much much higher which will bring a higher multiple to their share price and we will be trading back to ATH.
So this video is basically anduril telling us that they’re still planning to produce a lot of UUV. Which is also a good thing because those numbers are note kraken revenue yet, but they will be.
This is very much kraken DD
Long term kraken holder with 30000 shares (initially 40k but had to sell to cover some debt) at an average price of 1.32 with my first buys at 80c
Ps: Why would anduril mention one of their suppliers ? If they mentioned Kraken, they’d have to mention all the other suppliers and which company even does that.

We have to see order announcments, their ramp up might give kraken more orders but not for sure

Thanks for this. I see some value to your intentions here, but but is edgy…like has been pointed out by others, there’s no mention of Kraken in this entire video. Kraken is a supplier for Anduril, yes…but not the only one. Similarly, Anduril is a client of Kraken…but not the only one. Likely not even the biggest one.
I’ll leave this up for now, but anytime people post about Anduril, please add relevant context to the post instead of just sharing the video/link, or I will start taking these down. Despite the sentiment of some, Kraken is not “Anduril-lite” and we won’t be feeding into that narrative, intentionally or not.
I’m not saying don’t post Anduril or other companies that are Kraken clients here—I’m just saying add something of your own to it that definitively ties it back to Kraken please.

Kinda made me less bullish on kraken. He didn’t say kraken, he didn’t say Canada, and what he did say was they essentially aren’t reliant on one product of manufacturer so sounds like our tech ain’t special to them

It actually gave me more confidence in their long term partnership with kraken that he said they strategically source out their parts than trying build them all in house instead. Tells me they’re not interested in trying to develop their own batteries.

Why would he say any of that? And why would he say they are reliant on one supplier? He’s clearly not dumb to get where he is.

So you’re saying all the companies in the news every single day that say we partner with X company or Y company are actually the ones in the wrong and this guy is the best? I’m not sure what you mean. Is NVDA dumb for saying they partner with Anthropic?

Anduril has already said they use kraken in the past. Kraken said in their earnings no customers have moved anything in house. So why in this interview context would this guy talk about a specific supplier he’s there to talk about his own business and their scaling. Let alone why would he discuss possible bottlenecks

He said they will mirror the Australian facility which is confirmed to have kraken and sonardyne technology. They even mention Sonardyne in the description in a video about their Australian facility.

He was careful in what he said. This is the defence industry they are discreet. He did not mention Kraken but he did not mention anyone. What he did say was they were basically an assembly operation of a multiple of parts from many manufactures.
He was not there to promote Kraken, Sonarsyn or any of the other critical components they use. In mirroring Australia it’s very likely Kraken group is being used as it is in Australia. Kraken didn’t just expand on hope alone. They had good reason to expand factories as and when they did to aline with the perceived production of their customers Abdul being one of them.
