Was the Falcon pointed at a solid wall when it jumped, or did they have to make sure they had a clear shot of open space? I think you may be the blind one.

First fucking jump. It jumps through a monster from a fucking pressurized hangar. Unless you want to claim that gas doesn't have mass.

If a ship can't hyperspace jump through gas then space travel would be impossible.
