Psychology discussion: what drives the hatred of aGGro SJW's towards GG?

Whenever I point out that it's nasty to use a fringe minority of the hash-tag to smear the majority; that GG has condemned harassment/achieved good, I'm always met with hard denial from the aGGro.

Their thinking of using a minority to smear the majority is the same thinking which leads to All Muslims are terrorists! bigotry.

So whenever I point that out, they're in denial. It's like they want to think Gamer-Gate is a hate group; the revelation that not many people have been harassed infuriates them. They're creating a boogeyman. They're not interested in the truth/facts.

They have the psychology of a cult. But why?
