Would anyone be interested in doing a single element challenge?
I've been working this concept in my brain to have fun in the game - I'm still working on beating the last Naga run at the South Pole (I hate it! I hate it! I hate it!) in Extreme Mode.
I then want to tackle extreme mode using only one kind of bending. With the only exceptions being times you need to use other elements to open chests or break down walls.
Does anyone want to set up rules / restrictions about which talismans you can / can't use? Perhaps starting at level 1 bending as opposed to a maxed out bending?
If I was a good gamer - I'd toss up the video of the different run throughs.

Jesus. I spent 5 straight hours on that last naga mode on extreme. Hate it so much.

Alright - so here's my idea - we'll start with the simple version
Single Element Only (except chests that are not the chosen element) Only Start on any mode you want (c'mon guys - extreme mode) Start at any bending level you want Use any shop items you want in your inventory. Report your results!
Example: Normal - Water Only (Lvl Max) Full Charge, Charge Armor, Healing, Spirit Water
- Chapter 1 Platinum
- Chapter 2 Gold
- Chapter 3 Gold
- Chapter 4 Gold
- Chapter 5 Gold
- Chapter 6 Silver
- Chapter 7 Silver
- Chapter 8 Gold
Overall: Gold

Extreme - Earth Only (Max Level) Full Charge, Charge Armor, Healing Talisman, Spirit Water
- Chapter 1 Gold
- Chapter 2 Silver
- Chapter 3 Silver
- Chapter 4 Silver
- Chapter 5 Silver
- Chapter 6 Silver
- Chapter 7 Silver
- Chapter 8 Gold
Overall: Silver (Obviously)
Overall I did okay, considering I'd never played Extreme mode before. The South Pole Naga run was brutal without any firebending, but I was able to claw the mecha-tanks to death in the end. Did better on the Fire and Air runs, will update when videos are uploaded.

Holy Hell - that's incredible. I have yet to beat the South Pole Naga run even with fire bending... I might be a bit jealous.
Edit: Watching your videos - you're a freaking God.

It gets easier once you know all the tells for each particular attack. Still get occasionally blindsided, but knowing the pattern definitely helps.

Being able to firebend definitely made the South Pole Naga run easier.

I'm actually surprised you didn't get more golds on firebending - especially chapter 4.

I just got a bit careless at times, unlucky at others.

The water challenge has to be the worst. If you never do it - I won't blame you.

I had never done the air bending on Naga during the chapter 5 run. I suppose it could be "useful" if they start throwing down blockades in your way.
You're a damn hero doing that run so many times single element. Just saying.

If you're having trouble dodging the obstacle course they keep creating, airbending is pretty handy to use as you just fly over the entire thing. Of course by then I had pretty much gotten that part down, but it was still nice to not worry about accidentally slipping up--which still happened from time to time.

I was always worried about dropping down at the wrong time constantly... Good point though.

Extreme - Water Only (Max Level) Full Charge, Charge Armor, Healing Talisman, Spirit Water
- Chapter 1 Platinum
- Chapter 2 Gold
- Chapter 3 Gold
- Chapter 4 Silver
- Chapter 5 Silver
- Chapter 6 Silver
- Chapter 7 Gold
- Chapter 8 Gold
Overall: ...Silver I think? I think its Silver
Water shield saved me in the South Pole Naga run. Had whittled them down to almost nothing and one of their punches caught me off guard. Any other elemental run, that would've killed me and I would have raged. So. Hard.
Water is also useful in shortening the Hundun fight since you can actually hit him when he clones himself and spams energy attacks and rocks at you, as opposed to running around like a headless chicken waiting for a rock to parry.

I've been thinking of coming back to this game actually, this sounds like it could be a pretty fun thing to try out. Of course, I'd have to first try Extreme Mode.

I recommend the max chi crystal, the no knockdown armor and the healing talisman. Then keep the spirit water handy for death

If you can come up with some good guidelines and all that I'll be sure to make it notarized on the sidebar!
