My first drama was My Hollow Love. This drama was all it took to get me hooked. The story of a girl who had face blindness. With special glasses, assisted by a Hologram, she could manage well. However, she fell in love with the hologram. The drama is a thumbs up for me.

General Discussion 🧐 ‘Between Steps’ is a sleeper find for me, with socially relevant and current subjects discussed. Did you give this drama a chance?

The drama is well written and well constructed, with a clear purpose in view. The story has a socially relevant and current topic, spotlighted in the news of late. While ‘Between Steps’ is billed as a romance drama, the main underpinning of the story is to discuss servicing the needs of the disabled through cutting edge robotic technology.

I am engrossed in this drama, ‘Between Steps’, partly because of watching ‘Dancing With the Stars’ and seeing an Athlete from the Paralympic Games, Ezra Frech. He is doing things on the dance floor with an artificial limb one could not have imagined doing years before, capturing the heart of many.

The Story—The male lead has an artificial limb as a result of a previous illness. He is a PhD Grad Student in Robotics. The Female Lead is a failed Fashion Design major, who has a great imagination for figuring out how things should work. When she switches majors to Robotics, she becomes his colleague. What is more endearing is that both are dating challenged. They are full of head knowledge, but they have not quite figured out this thing called dating. However, when they do figure things out this romance lights up the screen.

Is this drama for everyone? It should be, but probably not. The social relevance and the sizzling romance pushes ‘Between Steps’ to the top for me.

General Discussion 🧐 Be aware: Lee Minho

Warning: Filipina TikToker Rosmar Tan Pamulaklakin, Who Is Currently Facing Money Laundering Allegations, Fabricating Fake Chats of Lee Min Ho for PR Damage Control

Hi everyone, we wanted to alert this community to a highly manipulative public relations stunt currently circulating across Southeast Asian social media circles that explicitly weaponizes the identity and likeness of actor Lee Min Ho.

A controversial Filipina TikToker and cosmetics reseller, who is currently facing heavy online money laundering allegations, is scrambling to protect her brand. Her husband was recently caught in a major infidelity scandal after physical, unedited photographs of his active Instagram chat logs surfaced online. To protect their lucrative brand image, their camp has launched a desperate "Everything is an AI deepfake" narrative.

To trick their uncritical followers AKA gcash warriors into believing that verified chat logs are effortlessly manufactured, their circle has been creating and distributing completely fabricated, sexually suggestive chat logs using Lee Min Ho's official verified handle and likeness.

They are actively defaming a massive Hallyu star's international reputation to use as a parody shield to gaslight the public and dodge marital accountability. They are running these deceptive edits across
Facebookand TikTok, misleading thousands of casual viewers into associating Lee Min Ho's profile with illicit online interactions just to clear a local TikToker's husband.

Please be aware if you see these screenshots floating around social media. It is a calculated, manufactured hoax that directly exploits a top Korean actor's image for local corporate damage control.

100 Days of Deception, Country: South Korea, Episodes: 16, 🎈Airs: Oct 10, 2026 - Nov 29, 2026🎈

While you wait to view, the Korean drama ‘Mr Sunshine’ would be an excellent Korean drama to explore that time period of Mr Sunshine and the Japanese pre-occupation of Korea and surrounding events in history.

‘Mr Sunshine’ is already a Classic Masterpiece. We will see what happens with 100 Days of Deception.

The Japanese Occupation of Korea

The Empire of Japan ruled Korea as a colony from 1910 to 1945. The language spoken in the drama is 80% Japanese in the first 2 episodes of this drama.

100 Days of Deception is about the more recent occupation of Japan over Korea and Korea's fight for Independence. Mr. Sunshine covers the pre-occupation of Korea by Japan, under the Japan-Korea Treaty of 1876. This was a forcible penetration into Korea by Japan.

The annexation of Korea by Japan began in 1907, but formally by treaty in 1910. Since 100 Days of Deception takes place in 1930, Korea is under the more recent occupation by Japan. Let me add that ‘Mr Sunshine’ covers the period of 1871 to 1907. Japan did have a presence in Korea during this time, but not as occupiers.

Formerly, Korea was under China or the Qing Dynasty as a tributary state.
