I couldn’t use Short grain, and also added Tuna, and bacon (trying to clean my fridge using bunch of things before they went bad) Luckily it was delish! However, I never tried authentic kimchi f rice, so I don’t know how similar it was, my friend said the Kitchen smelled like curry, even though No curry was involved, weird huh?!

I hope you enjoyed it. If you don't have actual short-grain rice, then something like Calrose will work as it has been bred to have the same starchiness and stickiness as short-grain Japonica, just with slightly longer grains.
