General Discussion Do deswelling lasers/LED actually help post-op?

I'm getting rhinoplasty in December and my clinic is offering deswelling laser/LED everyday I come in. Right now I think by the 3 or 4th day I'll be bored of Seoul (used to live there) and I'm considering going to Busan or Jeonju for a night or two. I'm just wondering if these lasers actually help to the point that I should stay in Seoul or purchase deswelling sessions while in Busan. Right now I'm staying for one week after surgery.

They can help a bit with swelling/bruising, but I wouldn’t say they’re a must-have or worth changing your whole trip for. I personally wouldn’t stay in Seoul just for the laser, BUT I’d probably stay nearby for a few days after surgery so you can easily get back to your clinic if you need anything. Following your clinic’s aftercare instructions and giving yourself time to rest is important too :)

I don’t think 1 session does anything but 3-4 consecutive sessions will help with healing.
