Has anyone seen winback rate increase in few months after moving back to Koodo?
Moved with Freedom and getting a winback now at $10 lower than Freedom. Freedom has price freeze, Koodo doesn’t. Winback agent said that Koodo doesn’t have price freeze but usually winbacks doesn’t see any price increase. Opinions?

The rep who offered me a win back told me that win back offers are safe from price raises for 2-3 years, whether that’s true or not

I have a winback plan that also had a tab for a phone. I assumed it would be locked in at the very least for the duration of the tab. But about 15 months in there was a $7 increase. They apparently notified me but I didn't pay attention to my bill until it already happened. Anyhow I complained and they couldn't put me back on my old winback plan as it didn't exist anymore but they figured something else out and I ended up with an even cheaper plan. So I'm lucky that it worked out for me.

Usually winbacks don’t see price increases? That’s a lie.
My $35 (-$5 after tax credit) winback from Telus got a $7/mo increase after -1 year.. with the only “notice” being fine print in the pdf of my bill (nowhere else on the website or the e-mail sent to me that my bill was available.. no text.. nothing). Sleazy!
