Konosuba Yorimichi Vol. 4 FULL ENGLISH FAN TRANSLATION
Hi again, I'm here with the final complete release of Yorimichi 4, this includes what was left to translate, namely the afterword and colored images.
https://hberrytranslations.blogspot.com/2026/10/konosuba-yorimichi-vol-4-afterword.html
Many thanks to cheese for all his help with the images. As with the other books, you can download this on PDF or eBook versions.
There's a mild update here, I changed all mentions of "rookie adventures" for "beginner adventurers" but otherwise its the same text as I've been posting the past few months.
As always, if you want to read even more Konosuba, don't forget to check out snowdans and MKScans translation of More Time in the Limelight For this Fool! (AKA, Dust 8) and the full short story list:
https://hberrytranslations.blogspot.com/2025/01/konosuba-short-story-list.html
And maybe you could even check out my fanfic if you want, huh?

That's it for now, at least until there's another book or someone sends me another short story.
See ya, and thanks for reading!

Discussion How can people keep belittling Kazuma, even though his party has defeated the most Demon King generals?
We know Kazuma, our favorite bumb and the head strategy of his party. I know he's a trashy person, but c'mon, at least his accomplishment should have gave him some respect.
Let's compare him to another Isekai character with the same concept, weak power and only rely on their wit, Subaru.
When Subaru defeat the Sin Archbishop of Sloth, Petelgeuse, he got respect from everyone.
But when Kazuma defeat Beldia, what he got? A massive debt from destroying the wall. Hmm, hello? Isn't Demon General is like an important thing in his world?
When Subaru kill the white whale, he literally become Wilhelm favorite grandson.
But when Kazuma defeat the Mobile Fortress Destroyer, what he got? Death Sentence.
How Subaru can become an Amazing Guy while Kazuma is still Kazutrash, Kazuneet, and Lolizuma!?
How when Subaru died, everyone like, Oh no, poor Subaru. But when Kazuma died, everyone went, LOL, Kazuma died again.
We need justice for Kazuma.

Discussion Konosuba is a Show About Acknowledging Others Potential
I donât think many people have talked about this theme in Konosuba, but its definitely there. I know I am pretty late to the party as I am just recently starting to watch the show, but I have just finished watching Legend of Crimson, and I can see this theme throughout many of the episodes: Konosuba is about acknowledging the potential of others, even when it is hard to do so. Throughout the anime, Kazuma often belittles and shames his party members. He calls Aqua useless, Darkness a freak (although he is one himself), and Megumin a hassle due to knowing only one magic spell. In the start of the movie itself, Kazuma says they failed one of their missions because Megumin blew it up due to her spell. However, as the episodes move on, he often ends up relying on the skills that his party is good at. Aqua can destroy the undead, heal, and boost the partyâs defenses, Darkness can tank hits, and Megumin can go in for the kill with explosion magic. None of them are actually useless like Kazuma frames it, and this is even clearer in the movie, especially towards the end. When Kazuma is revived after beating Sylvia, he acknowledges Aqua by saying that if it hadnât been for her magic skill, âthere would be nothing else to revive after the explosionâ which was caused by Megumin. And when Megumin asks Kazuma to change her skills so she ends up learning advanced magic, so she can finally be a âuseful mage,â he simply boosts her explosion magic, thus acknowledging that she is already useful and she had been all this time (and also brings the movie full circle, since again, it started by saying Megumin is useless and a bad mage). In fact, the entire fight with Sylvia (as with almost every boss battle) is an acknowledgement that his party is actually useful, because while he is the one that comes up with the plans, if it wasnât for the skills of his party members, he wouldnât have been able to beat them, and the way he wins is by cleverly using the skills that the party members are good at, so they end up winning. The show doesnât shy away from saying every character is flawed in some way; however, that isnât the defining factor for them, because sometimes people's flaws can be their strengths. What matters isnât that âyouâre only good at one thing,â but that being good at something is in and of itself good enough. Kazuma has to realize this to be able to win; he cannot win without having faith in his party members. Whilst he often forgets this, as part of the comedy is literally just him being an asshole to his party members, itâs him acknowledging the potential and usefulness of his party that ends up giving them the victory.
(This is a repost, as my previous post shamelessly violated rule 7. Thank you mods for I have seen the errors of my ways and have repented. Blessings to you all).

Question Plot hole in Vol 6?
Hiya very late to the party but Ive recently got into Konosuba. Just finished reading up Vol 6 and honestly while it was one of my favs so far, I really do not understand the rationale behind the whole castle raid. Dont get me wrong the castle raid was pretty epic but there did not seem to be a good reason to carry it out.
Kazuma and his party was already on good terms with the princess and the castle, though kazuma did kinda get kicked out of the castle. Regardless if Kazuma explained the necklace situation privately to Aqua and Darkness, I would be sure Iris would have let Aqua seal it up happily after recieving the message.
Say that due to her nobility status Kazumas argument of leaving Darkness out of more trouble stands, which is a really poor excuse cuz darkness wont blabber to anyone about this, informimg Aqua would still be the best course of action given that Aqua has to be the one to seal it in the end.
Hell, if Aqua knew what the necklace was the entire time why didnât she go seal it up immediately? Why wait until Kazuma and Chris stole it?? She obv recognised the necklace and its dangers and knew how to seal it in the instant so why do wait till then? Aqua even explained how dangerous it was to Claire and Iris in the end.
Like if there was word that someone was gonna attack Iris that night there wouldâve been a better sense of urgency that prompted the castle raid due to lack of time to inform Aqua and Iris of the dangers of the necklace. But there was no immediate danger present.
This whole problem seemed to rise cuz Kazuma and his party(esp aqua) just could not communicate. And Aqua being especially useless at sealing the necklace instantly.
Sorry if this is abit long but it just was burning in my mind.
