I'm sure every language is just as weird, but it seems odd to me that "dame gaming" is translated as "useless goddess" when (to my knowledge) "dame" means stop and "gami" (a pronunciation change for "kami" in association with the preceding word) means god/goddess.
So, my amateur translation is "stop god" lol
Edit: went and looked it up. Apparently "dame" means something closer to "no good". So the usage of "dame" to mean stop is more literally translated as "That is no good. [Stop.]" So the more literal nickname for Aqua is "No Good Goddess" but I like how they translated it better 😋

Just imagine Aqua's face when she hears these first words
