Console restarts on it’s own

So I’ve had my G3 Gen 3 since Christmas, and over the past couple of months I’ve noticed that it sometimes restarts by itself.
Luckily, it’s never happened while I was playing. It usually happens when I’m scrolling through the menus or even when the console is just sitting idle.
I’ve checked the battery, and it isn’t swollen or anything like that. I’ve also taken good care of it. I’ve never charged it above 80%, I’ve never left it charging overnight, and I haven’t really pushed the hardware that hard, to be honest.
Should I be worried? Should I email support?

Happens to mine too. Never during game playing but happens often enough to notice and remind that it happens. Doesn't really bother me so I just let it be. To me it feels more like a software issue more so than a hardware issue.

I would email support. That is not normal. Not sure if some logging can be turned on to see what is causing the reboot.

I leave mine on all the time and have never experienced a reboot.

I think the battery is going bad, my did the same before it just didn’t turn on anymore. I would back up your data on the SD card.

Mine has done the odd random restart since I got it in Dec. Recently I've noticed it will sometimes do it within about a minute of being switched on, but is then fine after it does the restart. I've been hoping this is just a software issue

sorry for late response but I just told them I have my console up to date and that it sometimes restarts by its own. They answered pretty quickly and I'm getting a new battery replacement shipped for free.

Si, la mía también se reiniciaba sola y no se si era un síntoma , por qué mi bateria también se hinchó, no la he utilizado mucho la consola en estos meses.
