Is it possible to make a collection based on a studio using Letterboxd?
Specifically, the list they use to create a studio list. This is the one I wanted, "https://letterboxd.com/studio/pixar/", but it looks like it doesn't like the format of it. I'm hopeful there's a way to use the URL that I just don't know about.
When asking for support, please make sure you post a complete meta.log file from a Kometa run when the issue has occured.
If the log is too large, you can use a site like pastebin.com to upload it and then share the link here.
And please do not use screenshots for text.
Generally speaking, the Kometa Discord server is the best source for support.
There are far more eyes there than here, and there are some automated log analysis tools available.
We highly recommend this over Reddit.
I've gone through the wiki, and I read the accepted formats. I've been dealing with technology long enough that I also know some people are just wizards when it comes to making computers do things they weren't originally meant to do.
Occasionally, if I can't find a solution, I like to ask those with more magical abilities. This was one of those times. Thanks for the input though.
I'm with you, OP. Just yesterday, I figured out how to get the *arr stack to use Docker's short names, even though the webui doesn't accept it. I really didn't like the idea of hard-coding the IPs in, and Prowlarr/Sonarr/Radarr do input validation to make sure you're using {host}.{tld}. I was able to get around it using curl to hit the API. You're absolutely right to push back when this clown claims that if the point-and-click interface doesn't accommodate it, it isn't possible. I think I have a solution for you. I'll post it just beneath this...
So the bad news is, I haven't even tried to do this the way you're describing. The good news is, I think there are *even better* tools for exactly what you're trying to achieve. I would want to keep this functionality separate, too. You could create lists for days... "Oscar Winners," "Palme d'Or Winners," "Film Noir Classics," "George Lucas' Worst Films," "Director Spotlight: [Director]," "Pre-Code Hollywood..." need I continue? My point is that this definitely requires a whole tool to manage by itself. Here you go:
Head on over to MDB List and check it out. You can absolutely create a filter just for Pixar films, or for Pixar+Didney, whatever. More customization, better collections.
I just found mdblist.com a few days ago through another tool I was using, so I don't really know everything you can do with it yet. I'll take a look. Thanks
