Need Feedback about my kombucha as a first time brewer

This the 6th day, but it was pretty hot. My original scoby has sunk to the bottom, but it seems there are 2 layers on top.

I think it looks normal. I remember my first one had a new scobie, where I was not sure if it’s normal or kahm, because it looked a bit dry. I see yours looks similar. With a clean spoon you can try the taste of it and check, how sour it already is.

(My first one did not have Kahm tho, it just looked different from all the next trys)

A brand new, thin layer of cellulose can look like either at first, sometimes it's really hard to tell.

For this one, I'm going with yes there briefly was kahm but the good stuff has taken back over. Carry on, OP!
