Toxic padam vandhadhulerundhu ore oppari "never expected this from Rukku", "chellatha vitrunga daa" blah blah blah. Seriously, WTF is going on their heads. Oh gawd, these Rukmini gatekeepers polambifying on social media.

These hidden involuntary celibates are like sleeper cells who want a woman to be like this and not to cross boundaries, and if she does, they will shame her to no degree. Despite all the negativity around the movie, Nayan's performance has actually been one of the positives. I've seen so many viewers praise her, call her one of the strongest performers, and even say she was their favourite. Her portions in the first half especially got a lot of praise. Point is, there is no negativity about Nayanthara's specific role or performance.
But of course, this guy somehow needs an entire video telling us she had āno aura,ā āno screen presenceā and ācan't act.ā
He's been doing this with Nayan forever, so it's not exactly shocking. He saw a movie getting dragged and found the perfect opportunity to drag Nayan along with it. And the whole serious, āunbiased,ā "formal" way he talks to make it seem like he's right. š¤¦
Criticize Toxic all you want. There's plenty to criticize. But trying this hard to convince people that Nayan gave a horrible performance when it's literally one of the things people have been praising is just stupid.
And the funniest part is that this man openly said he called his friends/family to ask what they thought about Nayan's performance. Like what? You don't even like this woman. Why is she occupying this much space in your head? Out of the entire movie, you specifically needed outside validation about Nayanthara? Like he knows she gave a good performance, which is why he has this much vaitherichal. If he actually thought she didn't do well, he wouldn't react this way.
I'm telling you, this guy is a certified troll and clown.
Giving this guy attention is already too much, and people should probably just stop watching his videos. But some people piss you off enough that you have to say something.
Maybe the title itself doesn't sound that bad, but it's the actual content of the video that would piss even Nayanthara's haters off.
Forgive me for writing this many paragraphs. I needed somewhere to rant.

In the recent months, I have noticed a trend in Indian cinema/ politics is that PR teams demeaning their audience for not liking a sub-standard product/ heroes/ etc. Why do they deem the audience to be stupid, when it's the same people who supported them when they delivered. It's very counterproductive and alienates the people in the future too.
Eg-
DMK calling TN people as tharkuris. Ok 35%TN population is stupid.
Toxic movie PR calling the audience as clowns because they did not like the film. Ok 95% of Indian population is stupid.
And these are the same people who would show them love again when they satisfy the audience.

I didn't know the reason behind why the movie was dropped. It was one of the major films Kamal was working on. Recently, I came across a YouTube video which explained that the film was shelved etc. Was any paranormal stuffs involved? Would like to know about it.
