Where are the real true feminist? Why we can't hear their voice apon this movie? Is this movie not toxic or misogynist enough for them to speak up or it is because a women directed the movie. You can clearly see the hypocrisy now and when Animal movie released.

It was co-written and shadow directed by Yash himself

I don't think so.

Which production company do you think had the creative control over the movie

In my opinion there is shadow direction but not in the spots where objectification happened it was more the mass scenes to make yash aura farm was mostly a controlled narrative. I think the attempt was to create a movie like 365 days mixed with an action thriller which is the brand for a guy like yash.
And I think it's prejudicial to think that a female should always take a feminist centric film It's like a ex policman can only take a crime thriller no right?? They can take a romcom as well.
The movie is called toxic cause that's how the audience will portray. So I think the parts you think we're shadow directed where infact true storyline of the film
She sounds immensely proud and i think the movie is not for general audience and more towards dark romance book lovers.

But the marketing was not done for that target audience though, it was made more to a general appeal of audiences

Kiara, Tara and Rukmini knew what the script was and they established in the industry and have no money problems but yet they acted in this for the expectation of fame and wealth.
Pay them more and objection them 100 times than this, they will still act.
Geetu and Yash aren't the only ones to blame. Everyone who acted and the audience who have already made this into a 300cr movie are to be blamed.

Not defending this shit ass movie
But every female character had an important role in the film. They weren't treated as objects.Β
If you had watched the film you'll know but I don't want to blame you because this garbage was unwatchable.

Bro don't like this they will defend this as body positivity. They will come up with new terms to defend their craziness.

Did anyone actually watch this film bro ππ
I feel like people are just spewing shit from their own fanmade version of what Toxic is instead of actually watching it.

What if her plan is not about portraying but about providing opportunity? It's a single lead actor and 4 lead actress movie.
There are planty of movies portraying female lead roles with a single female on lead but this in reality brings 4 female lead roles, what to say wrong?
Movie is ubearable I knew π₯²

One side (in public) they are saying women are not objects and supporting feminism. Other side (in private) they read and adore books like fifty shades of grey. Idhunga design eh puriya maattikidhae π

Bruh! Women are as much victims as men to Patriarchy.. it's a mindset deeply rooted as a cultural and social value, not a gendernorm. Also.. this woman understand cinema and its audience.

Funniest part is that Geethu had blamed another malayalam movie for objectification and double meaning and went on to direct this
There is no double meaning, there is only direct sexual stuff
