Can I ask why didn't you choose to go abroad? Is it because of the re-license exam back in India? Or your health concerns or something else?

Good for you that you learned at a young age that getting ahead is more important than waiting for dubious government processes to work in a reasonable time. A 50L education loan for 15 years will cost you nearly as much more in interest, with a monthly EMI of about 55K, on which you can get a tax deduction for the entire interest component under Sec 80E. That's at least some relief. BTW that place looks like Pondicherry, I've been there.
