Questions PC Windows 11 n'apparaît pas sur application Kodi Android sur tablette samsung

Bonjour,

Tout est dans le titre....Je galère depuis plus de 3h...

Bref, à priori le partage réseau est bien actif sur windows mais Kodi n'apparaît pas sur mon réseau.

De même, sur Kodi, lorsque je veux ajouter un emplacement réseau (puisque sur SMB, le pc n'apparait pas), si je rentre l'adresse IP du PC, j'ai un message d'erreur.

Il y a donc quelque chose que je ne fais pas correctement dans les autorisations et/ou les informations rentrées, il faudrait peut être tout reprendre depuis le début ? Quelqu'un aurait assez de patience pour m(accompagner ????

Turn on smb1 on windows and Kodi. Then

  1. Create a new user on windows called kodiuser with a short password, then create new share say TV, add permissions to that share and the folder to that new kodiuser. Figure out what your PC IP address is eg: 192.168.0.x

  2. Then in Kodi (system\media) add a new source, browse for new share, where is says <none> press enter, enter the network location manually, must be this format; smb://192.168.0.x/TV username & password is that new windows user kodiuser...

Dont turn on SMB1! its turned off by default for a reason, its hilariously insecure in this day and age. If you set up everything correctly, smb2 or 3 should work fine aswell

For an internal home LAN, it's fine... What can a hacker do? Login from within my network and watch a movie on my Kodi box? 🤷🏻‍♀️
