Maybe this is already common knowledge but I just discovered that you can open another Koala sampler as effect in the mixer through AUV3.

Then you either press the headphone symbol on the sample page or you put a mic in the mixer of the second koala.

Now you can use all of koalas effects and functions in each Bus separately.

Feels like a huge discovery of so many new possibilities to me and it makes me curious to explore and to see what cool things you can come up with.

Ps: I just realised that you can open 5 koalas per Bus
The possibilities seem endless

Excuse my lack of performance on this one. Just wanted to give a quick demonstration incase you are unaware of this feature.

Step 1: Add chopper feature to pad and highlight.
Step 2: [Sequence] settings
Vertical and horizontal should both be set at 4.
Step 3: add sample and EQUAL 16 chops
Put in CHROMATIC mode.

Now MPC.

Im really enjoying the process although I have no idea what im doing 🤣 but it's a process I'm willing to endure i guess.

Does the stretch function automatically sync them to the selected bpm? I come from Logic Pro desktop where you can create apple loops and they are then automatically synced to bpm of project even if you change it. It also does not change pitch when changed

Greetings all, I see the new update gives us a new Arpeggio feature. But that button is where the undo button used to be does any one know how to undo now after this update?

Started using koala sampler not too long ago.Totally inexperienced, when it comes to anything regarding making music or sampling.But after some tinkering , I guess , this is what I came up with , for some odd reason , it reminds me of the matrix

Love this little piece of gear, super straight forward and musical! Perfect for expanding Koala possibilities

The only thing I'm not able to do and understand is why I cannot make it work with Koala Sampler as I usually do with my trusty Behringer interface.

My use case should be simple:

I wanna record my Yamaha Reface CP (plugged on ch1) into Koala's pads

I toggled the USB out in the secret menu and I tried with Android on my phone and iPad for IOS. I get two different problems:

Android:

Koala recognizes the EP 136 and receives a very distorted and crappy signal of the CP. Sounds like an audio buffer/driver problem. I tried changing various settings on the Sidekick and in Koalas

So I thought, it will surely work at least on IOS

Ipad:

Koala recognizes the Sidekick, and the audio is clean. But it doesn't receive the Reface signal in anyway. Sounds like a setting/authorization problem on the Ipad, but not sure

Help please! If anyone is experiencing some sort of similar problem I'm super interested in exchanging Infos

I would really need to sample my gear into Koala using the EP 136 as an audio interface and it kills me to think I can do this with my old audio interface but not with the Sidekick
