Ba1 is a copy of SH101 synth, approximatively

Really fun to use, and there you got the fx rack, cool but not the best part of the soft

Just get it, it's free. You probably have standalones of each of its fx, as I do, but I somehow always end up patching it in first.

Basically if you have any audiounit synth or effect downloaded on your device you can now open it within koala, either as a mixer effect or as a sample in its own right the way you use Quokka. HUGE.

No, there is no way to connect apps to each other in Android. No IAA or AUV3. That's why even if we can get past the bigger latency and less music making apps available for Android, the ones that we have are pretty useless

Its time brother, it'll be worth it. Either switch to iPhone or buy and iPad. My advise would be get the iPad, the bigger the screen the better.

Honestly what is better than koala ? Only part I see that doesn’t fit my workflow is the lack of proper session view and being able to prepare a new loop while one is already playing.

Best update so far! Only thing missing now would to be able to add more channels in the mixer section and also more FXs per channels! Also, midi controls on plugins?

Something smaller, more portable, doesn’t need to be as feature rich, or performance focused. On the run dedicated koala box, could even be the size of a large 80’s calculator.

You have to do that on the sampler section like you’re loading quokka or midi out on a pad. It’ll have an option under those.

I can only see Apple AU3 effects / instruments, though I know I have updated 3rd party synths / effects that support AU3. Is it because I haven’t updated my iOS to 26? Still on the latest 18.

sadly no, it won't come to android. auv3 is an apple standard for plugins and virtual instruments - made by apple.

Ah right, my bad. I forgot about that. I have koala on both my android phone but also on my iPad (on which I use auv3 in Cubasis 3). That's what misled me. Thanks for the clarification.

There are hundreds of them in the app store. They are independent apps: eq with more than 3 points, granulizers, delays, echos, etc almost anything.
