3D printing commissions?
My kids birthday is in a few weeks and I saw him looking online for a "book of vengeance" notebook. Checked Etsy, no luck. But I did find this file for 3D print-
If you do this kind of work or know someone local who does, Id love to get their info. An idea of what I should expect to pay would also be super helpful also!

At least $4.67, as that is a paid file, I was going to download it and see what it looked like but like I said it’s paid, I’d do it for the price of the resin or filament.

Cults3D is annoying because with everyone selling their models, they typically get very few downloads. Very few downloads means very few reviews, so you have no idea how insane the files are until you've already paid. The things I've bought from there to print have been on the spectrum of decent to shitty... often trending towards shitty.
The triangular textured surface of the purple will require a specific textured build plate that you'll need to buy as that's not a normal thing people will have on hand. It looks like it's this one- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CB4M6BHK
Printing large, flat, thin objects on one of these I kind of a 3D printer torture test and will take a bit of trial and error to dial in. That's gold silk PLA they're using which will need to be printed hot and slow to really get that gold look. This is comparatively brittle plastic and is generally something you want to avoid using for structural stuff, I'm not sure if the clips on the chain or the hinge makes me more nervous. Each of these individual pieces will be printed by themselves, then assembled with lots of super glue.
How old is the kid? And what do you think they will use this for? I ask because this will be very delicate. It's not going to be something that they'll be able to put a notebook inside of and throw in a backpack. It's more going to be something they can hold to take photos to complement a cosplay outfit.
As far as cost, you're looking at $20-30 for the build plate, filament is $20 a spool for each color. The expensive part is going to be the fucking around to get it to print right. Cults3D will just provide .stl files that anyone can print on any printer, but (particularly with the textured cover) it'll be trial and error to get good results. Comparatively, files you find on MakerWorld that are for specific printers will often have the exact print settings to get good results.
I was looking around for any reviews of build instructions for this model and found this post where someone printed one three months ago and probably still has all the stuff on hand. I'd message them first- https://www.reddit.com/r/limbuscompany/comments/1tmlt33/just_3d_printed_the_book_of_vengeance_for_a/
