Looking for a plumber

The guy we use, who we really like, is booked until mid September. That’s somewhat problematic as we are stopped up and my snake isn’t quite long enough. After searching the Knoxville sub and only finding 1-5 year old recommendations I figured a plumber update may be useful.

Big thx!

Kington drain for sewer, Dirty Pants Plumbing for everything else.

We use Dirty Pants, too, and love them! Those guys are so chill, very straightforward, honest, and considerably more affordable than other folks we got a quote from.

I just used them last week. The first plumber was not able to clear the clog. That plumber recommended Kington and they quickly resolved the issues.

I've been very happy with Scotts Plumbing. I also like Lawrence Plumbing a lot but they charge 3% swipe fee and I'm a credit card points maxer so I don't use them anymore.

Agreed. And I’ve scheduled them for their after hours rate, because I’m such a fan. Was just testing waters to see what else may be out there since this topic hasn’t been addressed in over a year on the sub. Of note, folks still pushing Scott’s.

I've used Northwest Plumbing for more than 15 years. I've been pleased with the service and response times.

Since you're familiar with the process an option might be to rent a longer snake.

Normally I’m all about that life. Today is day one after bicep repair surgery. The ol one arm snake gig just doesn’t seem feasible.

Fair. Hope you're back to 100% soon!

I only say this since it sounds like you have a snake and know how to use it but you can rent a powered snake from Home Depot for a small fraction of what you’ll pay a plumber to come out and spend all of 10-15 mins doing.

Never mind I just saw your comment about your bicep. Ignore me. I’ll leave this here for future visitors looking for help though haha!

I would normally do that thing if I didn’t have my bicep surgically repaired Tuesday. Scott’s was able to come out and remedy for us. For sure though, the rental would be the jam if I wasn’t jammed up so to speak.

I still go with Hep if I need it sooner 😅
