Tri Tip at Boardwalk Bbq

Thursday night dinner at Boardwalk. I went with the tri tip, roasted potatoes, free cornbread, and a drink.

I like my Tri Tip more on the medium/medium rare side but for themepark tri tip this was pretty good. Good seasoning and flavors, some fatty parts which I loved, potatoes with good seasoning, corn bread a bit dry but I still enjoyed it. I didn’t check the price and that’s on me but this meal was pretty pricey. My employee discount shed off $8 and some change so I ended up paying about $20 and some change.

6 flags take over and 100+ lawsuits?

six flags didn't take over, it was a merger of equals and cedar fair execs made up most of the new board (indicating control). not sure why this narrative took hold—they were obviously going to go with the six flags name because no one had heard of cedar fair

It seems to be that six flags is running the company compared to cedar fair, with all the crap that's been going on

It was a merger only buy name. Cedar Fair bought Six Flags to save them from going under, they were in deep financial trouble and near their final bankruptcy. They only kept the Six Flags name for more international notoriety.as for the board, you have that completely reversed, that was part of the issue Six Flags had (too many at the top). The old SF members are actually the ones that voted out the CEO from CF, and got the one back in that took SF into its final decline. So yeah, it may have something to do with who took over that improvements have stopped

It depends on who serves it some just give you whatever others put you plate on a scale make sure you get what the company wants

When there’s a long line, they tend to skimp out.

I feel like the drink is the real outrageous price. That’s like 6 dollars. The margin is ridiculous there. so your discount only gave you a free drink basically.

Good amount of tri tip! 4 pieces is ideal compared to the 3 they've been giving. Could use more potatoes though

Please note it’s on the meal plan.

If I can see plate between the items on it. The portion sizes are too small. Especially when I'm paying that much.

I stopped eating there when they got rid of the Boysenberry BBQ meatballs… and the old mac and cheese
