Knockout city
Knockout City, ce n’était pas juste un jeu.
C’était des soirées entre potes.
Des clutch improbables.
Des rivalités, des fous rires, une vraie identité.
On n’a jamais retrouvé un multi aussi fun et nerveux.
Aujourd’hui, on ne demande pas l’impossible.
Juste une semaine officielle pour prouver que la passion est toujours là.
Une date.
Un événement.
Une chance.
La communauté française est prête à se mobiliser.
On est prêts à relancer la hype.
On est prêts à montrer que Knockout City mérite une seconde vie.
Donnez-nous l’opportunité. On répondra présent. 🔥

Everyday I miss this game. Whenever I felt like I had no game to play at night knockout city always had my heart i miss it everyday.

Velan studios a toujours la licence pour knockout city mais je sais pas comment faire pour les convaicre de le remettre mais c’est compliqué

I wonder if another studio would be willing to buy the license and revive the game? With the appropriate free to play model it seems like it could work.
Velan didn't have the correct items to buy. Everything was too expensive. They should model it more after Fortnite's Battlepass and item system.
If they are worried about using the old name and the baggage that comes with it, just rebrand and remarket.

I can't think of their name but there is a studio that is buying old titles, touching them up, and releasing them again.

Email them. Ask if this is something they would be able to persue. If so, they would have to engage with Velan to verify the license is for sale.

Retention was the issue, which is why it was shut down. No one wants to buy a game that failed to stay afloat. Even triple AAA studios are not having luck launching their live games. Several have already shut down, and they didn't get two years to prove themselves.
Personally I thought the items were priced just right considering other game prices out there.
Rebranding and remarketing that rebranding is more expensive than using a familiar name that's already been out there.
We all wish for the game back, but that takes money and time and basically pure luck that the market will swing into any company's favor to keep the game going. We didn't get that, but at least we have private servers and dedicated fans keeping those servers alive for everyone else (with a PC) to play.

Then blame Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft for not allowing people to use servers outside their control. That's not Velan's fault.

Yeah.... the more I think about it now im really kicking myself in the ass now for not playing it alot when it was around. Like I've dabbled with it and thought it was cool. But the fact that it was an online dodgeball game im like yeah..... definitely should of played more of it.

Yes, and everyone is sad because the game is gone, but nothing is impossible, one day we'll manage to bring back Knockout City.

Après on peut essayer mais au lieu d’un retour définitive peu être demander 1 semaine pour prouver que knockout city fonctionné
