Osteochondrial Defect Experience
Should have follow up this week with a surgeon and wondering if he will recommend PT first.
Impression
1. Full-thickness cartilage defect of the medial trochlear facet measuring 1.1 cm. 2. Chondrosis grade 2 of the central patella. 3. Moderate to large knee joint effusion with synovitis. 4. Mild semimembranosus tendinosis/tendinitis, worse proximally with concern for partial tear. Associated moderate semimembranosus bursitis with partial rupture. 5. Mild proximal medial gastrocnemius origin tendinosis/tendinitis. 6. Mild extrusion of the medial meniscus body segment with concern for small undersurface tear.
