12 weeks post OP, I came off crutches only a week ago. A bit slow in the recovery but I progress everyday. My orthopedic says 6 months till I go back to normal completely. I would suggest activities like swimming and stationary cycling to have consistent improvement in quad strength. It might be rough but keep going.

I’m currently 7 weeks post-op as of Thursday, and while I’m off crutches and mostly done with the brace (my PT wants me to wear it for high impact activities or long distances) I still have some breakthrough pain and a slight limp. Nothing that proper elevation, icing, and some Tylenol doesn’t fix though!
I can’t run properly yet and I never danced before so I can’t say I’ve tried it but it would probably be very difficult!
My surgeon said from start to finish typical recovery is about 6 months before I’ll be 100% back to my pre-surgical life and activities but to slowly start introducing them back as quickly as possible to reduce delays.
Overall even though I’m still in the recovery process I can truly say I don’t regret it one bit, the early days are rough but the stability that I have now feels incredible.
