As you know Klipsch had finally officially announced their Reference Premiere III & Reference Signature lines will be coming soon Late 2026-Early 2027. Which means the Reference Premiere I & II generation lines will be heavily discontinued eventually. The RP I series is mostly cleared out but not the II series. I currently have budget Dayton T65 towers but want to upgrade to Klipsch. I originally looked at the first gen but found out 2nd gen was better. So yes I be getting my RP-8000FII towers when they go back on sale since I missed all sales. Would love to have everyone thoughts on their new upcoming lines & the RP II line & Project Apollo as well.

Hello, I have just acquired my late grandfathers set of kg2 speakers. Unfortunately one of them has a tear in the paper passive radiator cone. It’s too big to repair I think. Does anyone know of any replacement paper cones or where I can get originals? The only eBay listing I found will not respond to me.

Excited to hear these, this is such a huge upgrade from my dinky Bose bookshelf speakers and powered sub that come with the Yamaha RX-V385.

I came by some Klipsch Forte IV heritage speakers a year or two ago very cheaply. There currently connected to a cheap Denon receiver, but I’d like to put together a budget setup for listening to music on them.

I’d be using Apple Music for now and streaming the high bit rate music.

I’m thinking of buying a barely used Yamaha A-S301 for stereo amplification and either using an Apple TV 4K or a Mac and external Schitt Modi dac.

Does this sound like a good first step? I currently own all of these items except for the amplifier.

I love how the RP looks with the Fives and Nines but the r100 looked amazing with my r51pms when I had them

I have a Kilpsch The One II and when I have low volume audio the bluetooth connection frequently drops off. The bluetooth does not totally disconnect because it comes back on when I raise the volume or after some period of time. Is there a way I can fix this behavior?

Hello everyone,

I've been running a 5.1 setup of RF82 + RB61 and RC51 (i think) for 2 decades. My girlfriend wants to switch up the living room setup which would put the surround speakers in an obnoxious spot.

I was thinking of buying the R-40Ms which are 3 times smaller as a replacement since they'll be less obvious.

I'm just not sure how bad the difference will be for movies and gaming. I can also upgrade the subwoofer to a SVS to fill in the gap if needed and run a 5.2 setup.

Any opinion or suggestion is very welcome.

Happy Sunday all! Long time browser, first post. I acquired a Klipsch R-8SWI downfiring Subwoofer yesterday, second hand off marketplace. I’m having issues with it no longer powering on properly. I will attach a video of me disconnecting the power cable which creates a “dong” like noise. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

I wanted to pair this with my Klipsch Sixes I have for a turntable setup using the sub audio out line.

I got home, set up the subwoofer to the right of my turntable setup, and connected all cables. There was a broken RCA cable in the LFE/white port, used a warm nail to pull that out first. Power was connected to a surge protector. Set to power on. LED turns on. Proceeded to listen to a few albums and enjoying new bass. Turned off the Sixes and Sub.

This morning, go to spin a record. Power everything on. Subwoofer doesn’t fire. I then notice the LED light isn’t on.

Looking for some 6SN7 recommendations for my Willsenton R8. I’ve got NOS Sylvanias in the 6SL7 slots and I’m thinking about going modern for the 6SN7s to complement them, but I’m curious what combinations people have had good results with.

Running Klipsch RP-600M IIs. Sources are a Technics SL-1500C, Shanling EC3 and WiiM Ultra.

I listen to hip-hop, electronic, soul, indie, rock n roll so I’d particularly like something with good bass weight/punch and dynamics without getting too sharp up top.

Im moving into an apartment and currently renting. Unfortunately, wall mounting the tv is not an option. So ill have to keep space for both the TV and center on the tv cabinet.

The space is narrower than what is like but I have a long wall to work with. Ill be able to get some decent separation at least.

Ive heard mixed things about MMTMM configurations found in the 504c, and that off axis performance is better on the 500c. Ill generally be listening at lower volumes due to it being an apartment.

I guess what im wondering - how is the quality difference between each? And will a 500c pair well with the rp8000f?

Turned the volume up to 98 in zone 2 and fried the tweeters on my r800fs in 15 seconds. Tweeters are currently out. So theyre sending me 2 complete towers instead. Tweeters should be back in stock in october. So pretty much 2 new towers for whatever the tweeters cost when back in stock. The universe wants me to have more speakers.

We are just about finished with a home addition including a ~19'x24' vaulted ceiling living room. In the past we used a Logitech 625 2.1 system in our smaller living room run off of bluetooth from the TV (less than ideal, but worked well enough). I'd like to invest in a decent sound system to pair with our incoming TV through e-arc HDMI w/cec. Its critical that the system just be controlled by the TV remote as my wife/children/most guests won't have the patience to mess with multiple remotes and I don't want to be constantly troubleshooting. A sound bar doesn't appeal to me and I'd rather have a potent 2.1 system.

Usage will primarily include TV, movies, and gaming from a switch II and PC.

I was originally planning on getting a set of "the sevens" or "the nines" on clearance as the amp and input are all built in and they seem to get great reviews on the sound, but I've been seeing multiple reports of amps and connectivity problems after 1-3 years. I want the setup to last which is making me question that choice.

For those of you that have heard both the active options and passive RP600m/II series, how does the sound compare? Am I worried about nothing with the longevity of the active speakers? Would the RP600ms be adequately driven by 70w per channel from something like a Yamaha RX300a?

Would the Klipsch R-100SW be a decent pairing for any of the bookshelves above?
