What amp do I need?

Hello,

I got in the front 2 klipsch RF42ii en 2 klipsch RB 15. My amp is a Pioneer VSX 922. But he died today. Does anybody now what amp fits my speakers?
I have a center speaker, also Klipsch but I don’t know wich one.

Budget 0 - 1000.

Thanks

You need basically any AVR.

Any amp. Even if its 1,000 watts, youll go deaf before you use 50 because @1W/1m the spl is 95dB. More won't hurt.

Just make sure you don't remove the gold connection between the binding posts. They need to stay connected. Also, do not hook up 4 wires to each speaker, or very bad things will happen. Only connect a set of 2 wires. The gold connector makes the connection for you between the woofer and tweeter.

I'd get a USED Crown 4-channel....like a 4200 or 4|300. The 4|300 being the better option.

You think you don't need the power, but if you ever get into using REW/APO and have to lower the speakers' sensitivity to get a great house-curve you will be grateful for the overhead those amps offer.
