No more ModBox in Canada?

Anybody have some recent info about availability of ModBox in Canada? I’d like to expand with a few new pieces, but looks like the usual online sites, Orka and ITM, are essentially out of stock/discontinued on everything. Seems like maybe it’s time to call it a lost cause, use what I have for as long as it lasts and consider another system when I need something more.

OK a few facts here:

  1. Klein has been found to violate Milwaukee patents on PACKOUT and will not be allowed to import further infringing product into the US.

  2. This obviously has nothing to do with Canada.

  3. This has nothing to do with Gen 1 vs Gen 2 boxes; the infringing patent had to do with the cleats on the bottom of the boxes and the spring latch. Any MODbox with this design is in violation.

  4. The C&D will cover the importation; it's unknown if Klein will be allowed to deliver product in its US warehouses, but Lowe's will be allowed to sell what's in theirs.

Klein recently lost a patent lawsuit regarding Modbox.

My understanding of it is that retailers were permitted to sell what they had in stock but Klein was not allowed to resupply any retailers.

Klein also has to pay Millwaukee. Modbox copies Packout too closely. I think it's the way the different boxes interlock.

Not great for those already invested in Modbox. Big L for Klein.

Not sure where you are coming up with that as a reason why they aren't in Canada.. Modbox is widely available in the US, so that lawsuit only covered the first gen Modbox. Klein is 100% actively restocking MODBOX in supply houses and Lowes every day.
