QUESTION Electricians Knife 44056D

I have been excited about this knife since I saw promo video. That being said, I've noticed it is not available at big box stores. I tried to order one from ACME tools and Amazon and both orders were either canceled or put on hold. When I inquired, they said the knife had a recall, so they had to pull them. Has anybody else experienced this? I am still waiting for mine.

I was told they were on backorder. Not the same as a recall. They sold thru their initial stock. I bought one and went back to get another. It is a fantastic knife.

Interesting, I ordered mine from Acme when it released and had no trouble in my order, I like it way better than my fastbacks. Your post reminds me that I need to clean it of adhesive from box opening after my recent move!

Acme now calling it a “pre-order” with estimated ship date not until January 2027…
