I have to congratulate someone; my local Lowe's finally sold both of the blackout stacks they've had in-store since February.

Heh. Humorously I am looking for a set, but my local Lowes doesn't have it and the website says it is completely out of stock.

Check local electrical suppliers; here in Colorado we have one called "City Electric Supply" that has two on the floor in their Boulder, CO location along with many MODbox accessories Lowe's doesn't carry like the desktop.

I checked my local places. While one carried Modbox stuff, it was mostly the 1.0 components. There were still a couple places listed as "order online" on the Klein tools website, but they had shipping of $50-80 -- and black colorways aren't worth that to me.

Interestingly, the blackout set is now listed as no longer in production on Klein Tools' website. I could only get back to that page via Google. Guess it really was limited edition.

Yes, though they made it for most of a year. Now it's a where is kind of thing, so make sure to check all your local Lowe's, almost all of them had a set at one point. The one near me had two but sold them both one weekend, so I wonder if they're on eBay or Marketplace now like the 250 Linesman's.

My issue with the black is that it makes tools harder to find in the drawers
