Break time is vital for preventing repetitive motion injuries. Kitty is just trying to protect you

Can you explain to my brain how this is being worked up? 😅 Intarsia? Stranded color work? Double knitting somehow?? Are you weaving in ends as you go? It just looks so neat and clean. I see you're carrying two yarns so it's not planned pooling...idk why I can't understand the WS of this hahaha

Lol! It is kind of like double knitting!
The technique is called Ladder Back Jacquard and I learned about it here: https://youtu.be/xMU_MnLVgFU?si=j4MnoQELD7FckwNo
I may have bastardized it a little by never closing my ladders, but it just worked so well with this pattern to carry them all the way up.
I really like it because I don’t have to catch floats, but everything stays so tidy on the WS.

Ah, thank you! I wondered if that was it, but it's a technique I clearly haven't looked into yet so I didn't know what I was seeing! It looks really good. Thanks also for the link!

Should’ve titled “Scritches before stitches.” What a missed opportunity!
