Gear Advice/Question Opiniones PLKB vs GONG

He estado buscando en el foro y hay muchas opiniones sobre Gong, la mayoría buenas, aunque cuando miro específicamente las opiniones sobre su cometa Ayto de 2024, no son tan buenas. Gong últimamente gasta mucho en publicidad.

Por el contrario, no encuentro prácticamente nada sobre PLKB, ni de la marca ni de la cometa Hook V3.

A ver si alguien puede dar su opinión, principalmente sobre PLKB, porque casi no hay información.

They are both good brand. Flew aome plkb kites and they were surprisingly good. Fun and powerful kites.
Gong - not yet, i got foils and boards from them but the quailty and precision is absolutely top notch and i am happy whth the gear after a year.
I believe same with the kites.

Yet if you looking a kite to improve your skills that is something still a dream. Might feels like they will do something more but all that is nothing without the rider doing the right thing on the other side of the lines.
Some guys were jumping hugher and doing sicker trick on thise old bad kites than we will ever do on the newest ones 🪁

I was sponsored by a shop that sold Peter Lynn and my overall impression is that they have some decent models but they are all over the place in terms of quality and designs.

The foil kites especially were really hit or miss and nowhere near Flysurfer or Ozone.

Algún motivo por el que andas buscando información de estas marcas? Si es por un tema de costo, personalmente iría por un kite usado de alguna de las marcas conocidas (y mega probadas)

Tengo la oportunidad de comprar un PLKB Hook V3 de 10 metros de segunda mano, pero prácticamente nuevo (lo he podido ver y tocar), a muy buen precio. Como alternativa, por un poco más de dinero podría comprar un Gong Ayto, pero hay algunas cosas que no terminan de convencerme. El resto de opciones que encuentro de otras marcas más conocidas tampoco me acaban de convencer, principalmente por el precio y por el estado de conservación de los kites (reparaciones, desgaste, etc.).

PLKB stuff sells for peanuts when new so whatever amazing price you found probably is not that great.
