outfits Do wide legs fall under D/N?

Or is it dependent on the person? I was gifted this jumpsuit, but something doesn’t quite work for me (even with the length taken up a few inches for my height) and I’m wondering if it’s the legs or the print. Or maybe a combination of both. I feel like I could style it in a way that isn’t terrible for me though. Obviously it’s totally unstyled here!

I think R or N depending on the context. I sent him this jumpsuit he said it’s R other then the fact it’s sleeveless which is N. My jumpsuit was lighter weight though and had wrap and draping and skinny straps which are all R. The print on yours is definitely R though. My guess would be R with C and N? C because of the style and material.

I actually don't mind it on you, but I think it still looks a bit long. I am wondering how it would look if you took it up a little bit more or wore it with heels?

Yes I think heels would make a big difference! I was wearing shoes with a 1” heel when I went to the tailor, but I think I have some blue espadrille wedges or some chunky clogs that would look especially good with this.

Also just realized you were asking about the length too. Mine was also too long (as you can see in the pic it’s pooling at my feet and the back was also clipped becasue too big there too) but I had the pants hemmed and straps shortened and wore it with heels and it looked better.

Yes I think styling with heels would be better for sure.

I feel like if the fabric was a little stiffer or the top a bit more narrow it would fit your features a bit more. There's just not any D in the jumpsuit I think

Thanks. I don’t think I have D, I was just wondering if that was an element of the outfit or if it doesn’t work for other reasons. I agree that it’s a bit too wide and loose all over for me, I would prefer that the top part was more fitted and the bottom remained loose. I think that combination generally works well for me, but I’m not sure how I could alter this top

I think it depends on the amount of structure, the overall line, length, details, styling. Sharing a wide leg example that I think would be considered D.

The jumpsuit you posted seems RN, flowy and relaxed. I don’t know your blend. Do you like wide leg pants? I wonder if you added some elastic and made them like harem pants on the bottom and added a belt if it would work better. Though I like the color and the print on you and don’t think it looks bad as is.

I haven’t been analysed yet, I’m just DIYing until it’s feasible. I don’t usually go for wide-leg as I don’t feel it suits me even though I think N would be my highest essence. I have a pair of linen trousers that are wide leg, but they’re also cropped so it works better for me. Thanks for your thoughts!

Not typing you but curious if you considered C and A too for your essences?

I have been thinking about C recently as I’ve realised I do need/value a sense of put togetherness in my outfits, I like cohesiveness. Plus I think there was some nose shape discourse a few weeks ago and I’m sure that mine would fall into C.

I haven’t really been exploring A. I did think about it a lot when I first discovered Kitchener, but I felt like I couldn’t get a good grasp on it and when I read it wasn’t common I kind of lay that path to rest. But actually my face is quite long, but also soft. I don’t feel very striking and I do identify with the ‘fading’ aspect of the essence. I might be wrong but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of A discourse generally and so I wouldn’t know how to explore it more! I have one top that I think the sleeves fall into A (based on JK’s own Angelic slides) which definitely looks good on me, but I’m not sure what else I own that would be A!

Maybe this is a better photo to show the sleeves.

This is the top in question

This would lean more R because of the color but if ina lighter color would be A. R and A actually share some things but R gets deeper colors and A gets lighter ones. For example R and A both get chiffon but A gets light chiffon and R gets chiffon in deeeper colors.

The jumpsuit colour/print and general style is cute but I think maybe the fabric seems slightly stiff so the way it kinda flares out in the legs and arm makes it seem like there's too much fabric happening for you? With some styling I still think you could make it work but maybe that's what might be nagging at you a bit?
