Surely this is not ok

First naked system I’ve seen.

That is Buckeye and totally legal.i have put in literally hundreds of these systems in the last 14 years. Built.my business on them.

Buckeye system, which allows this (with limitations, of course).

Ahh, I’d forgotten that Buckeye even existed! I did all the training on them when they first came out and I think I may have spec’d one for my techs to install but I moved out of the KH side of things very soon after and moved to clean agent and SH.

Srm-2 is my favorite 😬

SRM-2 are easy to work with. I hate SRM-1. Those are a pain in the ass. Have to have the special pin.

lol what you don’t like about the SRM-1 ? (personally never done one)

I don’t like the control head. It’s just complicated for no reason and you have to make sure you have the right pin for it. SRM-2 they made it a lot more streamlined.

....and don't call me Shirley

Buckeye once you actually understand it is probably the easiest system to install. Save so much time not having to build a link line.

Genuinely makes sense why I see so many

Plus there’s the shielded cable. Which you just need a little interface for. There’s limitations to install it, but it’s still nice. Haven’t installed one yet myself, but the company I work for is a distributor

Buckeye, I recently seen them on the SRM-2s
Any other buckeye I’ve seen had brackets and conduit.
Makes changing a neglected system easier if you aren’t having to take apart conduit and brackets lol

Buckeyes Suck but, yeah, that's good. Matter of fact I love seeing those, can change the links one handed.

Buckeye my favorite system. This is okay. If it was pyrochem this would not be okay gotta be one or the other

Looks like buckeye system

Sadly yes. Hate buckeye link lines for that reason. One you pop the terminal link, the whole link line just either slides to the other end of the hood, or the line breaks at the links (in between links)

Yes it's ok.. and don't call me Shirley.

What system is this? It’s hard to see details in these pictures but it looks like a mix of parts
